I have never trained on a reformer. Can I join? +

Absolutely. Just starting, or starting again? Pick a class labelled Beginner: building up calmly, with full attention. Once you are comfortable you move on to All levels, where we adapt the exercises to whoever is on the reformers. A single class is the way to get acquainted.

Am I too stiff or not fit enough to start? +

That is exactly the reason to start. On the reformer the spring tension decides how hard an exercise is, so everything is adjusted to what you can handle. With nine people in the room at most, we see your alignment and correct where needed.

What is the difference with mat pilates? +

The reformer is a spring-loaded machine that gives resistance and support at the same time. That makes the training more effective and gentler on your joints: you build strength and control without forcing anything.

Can I join with an injury or during pregnancy? +

Usually yes, but let us know beforehand. Reformer pilates is widely used in recovery and we have experience with it. Send a or email telling us what is going on and we will work out together whether a group class fits or a private works better.

Are there women-only classes? +

Yes. Seven fixed moments a week are ladies only: Monday 11:00, Tuesday 18:00, Wednesday 09:00, Thursday 19:00, Friday 10:00, Saturday 08:00 and Sunday 10:00. They are marked as such in the schedule and you book them like any other class.

How do I book a class, and do I need an account? +

Online, through the schedule on this page. You pick your moment, see straight away how many spots are left and reserve your reformer. The first time you create an account with bsport, our booking system, so your package, your credit and your booked classes all sit in one place. After that it is a few taps.

When can I book my first class? +

Straight away. The full schedule runs at the Gruttoplein in Diemen-Noord, so you book your class in the schedule on this page or in the bsport app. If you buy a single class or a class pack, your credit is waiting the moment you book your first class.

What is a Charter Member? +

A charter is the founding document of a club: whoever is on it belonged from the very start. Become a Charter Member and you train unlimited for €149 per 4 weeks instead of €195, and you keep that price for as long as you stay a member. That saves you around €600 a year. There is one thing in return: you commit for twelve months. The Charter closes on 30 September; after that no one can join it and the price is simply €195.

Which membership suits me? +

Look at how often you train: once a week is Basis, twice is Extra, three times or more is Unlimited. Training less often, or still trying things out? Then a single class or a class pack is better value.

Do I have a fixed class day or time? +

No. Your membership sets how often you train, not when. You book in the app yourself, on the days and times that suit you, and that can be different every week.

How do payment and cancellation work? +

Memberships are collected automatically every 4 weeks through bsport. You commit for a minimum of 3 cycles, after which you cancel per cycle. Charter Members are the exception: there the minimum is 12 months.

What if I cannot make a class? +

Up to 12 hours before class you cancel free of charge. After that it costs €5, and a no-show costs €9.95. You get one goodwill exception per quarter, and in an emergency you simply or email Gladys.

What is the difference between Charter and a regular membership? +

The price is the same as Extra, €149 per 4 weeks, but you train unlimited instead of eight times per four weeks. There is one thing in return: you commit for twelve months, while a regular membership can be cancelled after three cycles. The Charter closes on 30 September; after that this rate is gone.

Can I book through ClassPass or Urban Sports Club? +

Yes, the small group classes are on ClassPass and Urban Sports Club as well. If you train more than a couple of times a month, your own membership is usually better value.

What do I need for my first class? +

Comfortable sportswear and grip socks, which are required for grip and hygiene and can be bought in the studio if you do not have any. There are lockers and a changing room, so really you only need to bring yourself.

Can I train privately or as a pair? +

Yes. Alongside the small group classes we offer private (1-on-1) and duo sessions, including outside regular class hours. Email us and we will find a moment that works.

Where can I park and how do I get there by public transport? +

Free parking around the studio in Diemen-Noord; some spots are blue zone. By public transport you get off at the Tureluurweg stop (bus 44), a two minute walk from there.
